Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
Assalaamu’alaikum to my nearest and dearest, furthest and strangest =)
I pray you’re all well, in the best of health and emaan, aameen.
Alhamdulillah alhamdulillah, I have some wonderful news to share..
Allah [swt] out of His vast generosity, abundant bounty and expansive mercy has invited myself and my family to make the blessed journey for ‘Umrah this year. InshaAllah we will be spending much of Ramadhaan out there, hoping to seek Laylatul Qadr where the Prophet [salallaahu 'alayhi wasallam] sought Laylatul Qadr. May Allah [swt] facilitate it for us, accept it from us and draw us close by it, aameen.
I just wanted to let you guys know inshaAllah, so that you can start thinking about your du’aa list and send it my way inshaAllah.
I also take this opportunity to seek your forgiveness inshaAllah. Some of you know me, and thus will be well-acquainted with my many shortcomings. I sincerely apologise for all the commitments I have made to this blog but failed to deliver on; and for all my actions that displeased/harmed anyone. May Allah and then you forgive me, aameen.
If anyone has any specific du’aas, please feel free to drop a message here and we will take it on board inshaAllah – your comments won’t be published inshaAllah.

Masha’Allaah, may Allah accept it from you and your family, ameen
just want to give you some quick advice…. please dont fall into the trap that you have plenty of time there, every day spent in the blessed haramayn should be utilised and appreciated. Its going to be hot, you may fall ill, the air con in the hotels and shops may keep you there longer than you planned but remind yourself that you will be back in london, it may be a long month away but you will be back bi’ithnillah and im almost 110% sure that regardless what happens you will wish you spent longer in the masaajids & salaah. So make the masjid your home and the hotel a place to do the neccessities in life. just remind yourself of the ‘ajr for simply praying there compared to here….that should be sufficient to keep you attentive through taraweeh, tahajjud and witr
Another piece of advice dont stop making tawaaf, even after completion of the umrah, dont dismiss a single janazah prayer even if you are approaching the exits of the masjid!, be generous- reciprocate the generousity you c there and dont forget the poor and the cats!
im sure i dont need to tell you all this but want you to maxmise this opportunity and dnt want you to have the same regrets. A request plz, make dua that Allaah swt enable us to make ramadan more profitable than last and that He enables me to return there very very soon.

May Allaah accept this worship from you and grant you many more opportunities like this. Aameen.
If the plane has not departed yet… firstly, pray that you and your family are kept happy and content in this dunya, and that Allaah unites you in the better levels of the aakhirah.
After that pray the same for the Muslims.
