Announcement: The NOTW will be postponed now until end of May due to exam periods. Apologies to those who regularly read NOTW. Please make du’a for me, Al Kawni and all Muslim students who have exams. May Allaah make it easy for us and help us to achieve excellent grades. Jazaakallaah khayr.

On This Weeks News: Scores die in Syria in the bloodiest day in Syria since the uprising – at least 75 killed by the Syrian security forces. In Yemen, protests continue including a surprisingly large pro-saleh protest. Fighting continues in Libya with the U.S. now giving the go ahead to deploy predator drones, the same used to kill alleged militants in North West Pakistan but in reality has killed many civilians. may allah have mercy on the brother and grant him firdous al 'ala. aameen ya rabb.

say aameen ya brothers and sisters. making du'aa for your brother in his absence has manifold benefits, and we love for our brothers as we love for ourselves.

    wallahu alam

“Whether [these people] ever get prosecuted in a criminal case in Pakistan or not, they will begin to feel the breath of law enforcement on the back of their necks and they’ll begin to take a little more seriously this question of whether you go round killing people by pushing button in California.”

du'aas for that pakistani backbone! allah will help!
