Each day we are given a chance to undo what we did wrong,
Little do we realise tomorrow may already be gone.
So while we’re breathing this air today,
Let us contemplate on whether we’re ready for judgment day.
Have we praised Allaah, by bowing to Him each day?
Did we seek repentance, for sins we committed yesterday?
Did we help those who were less fortunate?
Have we thanked Allaah for each blessed moment?
In the month of Ramadan were the fasts kept?
Or did we just feel hunger, and didn’t really know what this blessed month truly meant?
Was the Hajj made when it was obligatory upon us?
Or are we waiting for tomorrow, with our excuses and fuss?
So while we’re breathing this air today, please let us make repentance
And change our ways,
For who knows if tomorrow will even come our way!
O Allaah! Please forgive us…
